What to expect at the Google I/O 2015

The Google I/O is the yearly developer conference hosted by Google. This involves speakers and sessions on all aspects of software and hardware development that is related to Google. Within the conference there are speakers on various technological and software topics.

Stimulating the developer community helps Google expand its reach and range in a number of ways. In simple terms, it can help Google increase the number of apps in its Google Play library so that it rivals the apps that Apple has on iTunes.

Stimulating and exciting the developer community goes far deeper than beating Apple because there are plenty of ways Google technology and software may integrate into new devices, new technology and emerging software/platforms.

The conference is held at Moscone West in San Francisco's South of Market district. The number of partners, developers, and press persons that attend is growing, and they flock in great numbers to see and hear about the newest Google's services, platforms, and products.

People learn about new technology and new software, and they learn about updates to existing products, which is also a very big deal for developers and the press. Great ideas are found to be scrapped and/or updated and are replaced with new ideas that could change the way people use the Internet, mobile and desktop devices in the near future.

Thousands of people attend the Google I/O, but Google is a worldwide phenomenon that affects Internet users globally. Due to the fact that all interested parties cannot attend, the conference offers live streaming and recordings. The programme includes live streaming of sessions as they happen, and if you are not available at the time, you can catch up with proceeding as they are uploaded onto YouTube.

Sundar Pichai is expected to open the proceedings as the main keynote speaker. He is one of the senior vice presidents at Google. His job is to oversee developments in things such as the Android, Google Apps and Google Chrome.

Google M is something else a lot of people are talking about and is set to make an appearance at the Google I/O. It is the next iteration of the Google Android operating system, though we do not know what the M stands for yet.

Google+ has a photo feature where people may click on photos on the Google+ social media network and see it in an online photo album. Google have already announced they intend to change that and start a stand-alone photo gallery. This is also expected to feature at the Google I/O.
